Meine Zwei Fruende

C'mon, baseball fans, OF COURSE Plotnik is not talking about it.

In other news, it's wonderful to have Gerhild and Anneli here (incidentally Anneli pronounces her name Anna-Lee). They are beautiful house guests and are teaching Plotnik some basic German, like Ich bin zehr glucklich dass meine zvei fruende Anneli und Geri (conjunction forgotten) meine hause gekommen zint. That's all wrong, actually, but by the time they leave it will be right. Here Geri, on the left, and Anneli pose with the gingerbread hearts they brought from Oktoberfest before they left their homes in Munich.



What fun to show our city to people who have never been on the West Coast before. Everything is a pleasure to them, and so it becomes the same for us. Yesterday was downtown day as Plot and Duck actually bought a few things at Crate and Barrel and then posed Geri and Anneli on the cable car.



(It has been said, but certainly not by Plotnik, that the Plotzers have not won any big games this year, but today is one of those, because if they don't win this one...well, we have no opinion on the matter and no one we know was injured or even involved in the writing of this paragraph.)
