Rachel Returns to the Carboload

World Famous Children's Book Author Rachel Rodri-gnik, often known as Rocks in Her Socks (see Monday, Feb 27 2006), met this morning with The Great Plotnik and The Great Ducknik for a carboload at Tartine. Over almond croissants and sticky buns, RR-gnik recounted how her book 'Through Georgia's Eyes' has done since the night she signed her first copy.

"Georgia' is now in its third printing and Rocks has recently returned from Barcelona where she did research for her next children's book, this one about the Catalonian architect Gaudi, to be done with the same wonderful illustrator. The book is already in production and due out in 2009.

The Great Plotnik is happy to report that RR-gnik looks fabulous, sounds fabulous and is fabulous. It's nice to see Tiaposians breaking out into the real world.
