Brooklyn Day Eight: You Travel 2500 Miles and Run Into Old Friends and Neighbors

In this huge city that sometimes feels like a small town, Plotnik and Ducknik were standing in the gift shop of the Museum of the City of New York on 103rd St. in Manhattan yesterday, and ran into their neighbors Steve and Pippa, who were also wandering through the gift shop. Steve and Pippa live a block away from World Headquarters in Saint Plotniko, but their daughter lives in the Big Shmapple now so they are here visiting, just like the Plotniks. Everybody visits somebody in New York and sooner or later you always run into someone you know.

Meanwhile, Belly Bone received a crown yesterday in advance of Birthday Number Three tomorrow.

In a few minutes Duck and Plot will get on the Number 4 Express to Fulton Street and meet The Great Dance-Nik for lunch, IF they can get through what is apparently a raucous Yankees victory parade in the financial district, which just happens to be where Dance-Nik works.

Thanks for enduring the Yankee madness. It was great to see you two! (And laugh)
