Farmer Sam's Blue Tooth Potluck Party - 2

Farmer Sam was in quite a grand mood, as he awarded prizes for the food. The huge trophy seemed to get moved around during the evening, sitting awhile in Chef Max's pasta pirogue...

...after spending an hour or two in the duck legs.

Chef Ducknik's four pecan pies were so good they won a First Prize Blue Ribbon, without even being tasted. Chef Pickle has officially denied placing the blue ribbons wherever she felt like it.

The Great Plotnik's personal favorite was the Vegan Table. There were a half dozen apples on it when the party started, and half a dozen apples on it when the party ended.

But even though those invited to the party tended to have an advanced appreciation of great food, Plotnik noticed one interesting fact: all the dishes that had a prize ribbon on them got cleaned off, while many others, equally delicious, but without a ribbon, were only partially tasted. In a deck of equal cards, celebrity is trump.

What an amazing party it was. Once again, as often happens these days, Plot was able to stop and count his blessings. We are all living in The Good Old Days right this minute, experiencing a life style unimaginable to 99.99% of the world's inhabitants. We dance, drink, eat, hug our kids and our friends, and then, if we feel like it, turn around and do it all again. Thanks for your generosity, Farmer Sam and the Blue Tooth Crew, from The Great Plotnik, The Great Ducknik and The Great PunkyDunky. We had a ball.
