Juan Puts Up the New Chandelier

The Great Plotnik warns his readers to read the SF Theater Blog's review of "Satellites," now playing at the Aurora Theater in Berkeley, before believing the review in the Morning Bag this morning. All you gotta do is PUNCH BUTTON PUNCH BUTTON. The Great Plotnik wonders if he should have ordered the Biscotti with Almonds, Pine Nuts and Mescaline like Bob Hurwitt must have.

Meanwhile, the new chandelier is going up in the parlor. It has taken Juan, the man who helped design the lamp, then built it, no more than half an hour to install it. Plotnik and Ducknik would normally have saved the money and installed it themselves, but see Kitchen Floors November and December 2007. This time they got smart.

It really is much nicer than what was there for the last fourteen years, and perhaps fifty or a hundred years before that.

Yep, it's a beauty. You'll probably need to sell the house now.

Juan sounds like a treasure - that is a great looking light fixture. (I had nearly forgotten about the floor thing - wise choice on Juaning it this time.)
