Koo Comes Home for a Sunday Visit

It was nice to see Koo Bird-Nik back on his tomato perch yesterday. Mom Bird appears to be sitting in the nest again, which was rebuilt or at least renovated by Pop Bird, who spent an afternoon flying in new straw and twigs. This is not such a good sign, because she can't have eggs in there in August, can she? Perhaps it's just a nice house and she has to live somewhere.

Her boy looks great, doesn't he? Unless he's his sister?

At the game, Cuz Bro Two said they'd fetch $200 right then, but they gave out 50,000 of them for free. It's amazing they're worth anything at all.

You don't have enough money to buy Plotnik's Bleeding Gums Murphy or Fernando Valenzuela, but Plot would give up Manny Ramirez in a heartbeat if Manny would start hitting again -- but then again, let him wait until September. The Plotzers are going to need him against the Braindeads.
