Pink Iris and Brown Ribs

Plotnik didn't know whether a bearded iris would get enough sun in the window box between World Headquarters and Uphill House, so he stuck one in there last fall. Voila. Obviously, afternoon sun and a lot of wind are good for irises.

But, to get back to food: Plot discovered a really delicious recipe for baby back ribs.

These get cooked on an oven rack over a baking pan half filled with water. The humidity must really do something to the moisture of the ribs and glazing. Man! Recipe available for anyone interested. Serve with cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots and Vietnamese herbs; also salad with balsamic vinegar, and brown rice with saffron.
