The news is The Great FiveHead is winging west again today or tomorrow for another job in Stiletto. She'll be there during the three game series with the Giants, but Plotnik won't be, and 5H will be working.
The breaking news is about Manny Ramirez (see top right of this page) being suspended fifty games for drug use. It makes no sense, so we'll see. But it never makes sense, does it? They've got it all already. What more do they have to prove? Maybe it's a, uh, mistake? Plotnik certainly hopes so.
Isn't it strange how when the guy is on another team he's a drug-addled miscreant, but when he's on your team it must be a mistake?
But that's Manny. Back to the important stuff. Ain't that Belly a hoot?

Bellie, Hollywood or not, looks less than thrilled that her mother is heading away for the weekend.
I've got to believe the Manny thing was an accident and is probably a trivial issue with a trivial drug - and it is the kind of thing that could make drug testing seem like a waste of time.
In any case, it will cost Manny $7.7 million and could give the Giants (and the rest of the NL West) a real chance.
I'm sorry but I LOVE the Manny news because I so remember your rants upon rants about Mr. Bonds. Tee hee...
