Super Bowl Sunday at Brother GB70s

GB70 (The Artist Formerly Known as Schmeckl Plotnik) took it like a man yesterday, sitting on his chair with his beloved Overbite Bailey's eyes gleaming on his lap, as the Plotnik family got all mushy with testimonials. The Little Bear put together a very nice photo album with comments everyone had sent in and some were quite touching. The Great PD and The Great BZWZ's notes brought not just a few tears to Plottie's eyes. It was the end of a really nice weekend -- lots of laughs and the Super Bowl too. Plenty of bbq, of course.



Guess what Lyla Rose's t-shirt said yesterday: "I (HEART) being a Big Sister."

It took us all a minute to figure it out, but indeed Cousin Two Names is expecting again. She's due in August and there goes that wine tasting trip. Lyla Rose probably still thinks they can give the new baby back if she doesn't like him (her). Nuh-uh.



Cousin Mother Two Names brought Plotnik a special present yesterday -- two fat, yummy chocolate drop cookies from Canter's Bakery. Plot isn't sure why he loves these cookies so much but he does. He and Ducknik have split one and there's one to go, which will be doled out in small pieces.

Mummy P. is all set up with instructions on how to read text messages and reply to them while Plot and Duck are gone. They did this quite successfully last Spring on the sailboat -- it was really nice to turn on the cell and have a text waiting. He hopes this will happen again. Texts in South America are cheap but phone calls exorbitant, so Plot will probably have his cell phone turned off most of the time to keep from paying roaming charges when a robot working for Mayor Newsom wants Plottie's support for the Policeman's Ball.
