The Great Plotnik

Williamsburg Friday

Plot and Duck are in Williamsburg after a drive of going around in circles over and over again. Highways start and stop without telling you. We drove 25 miles out of the way and then another fifteen. But we're here.

Southern Virginia is historical if extremely touristy. Ducknik's old high school friends look great but not as good as she does. There is no internet in the rooms so everyone is lined up behind Plotnik waiting to use this one in the hall. Tomorrow morning may be quieter and there will be more to report. Jamestown (est. 1605) is ten miles from here, but the hotel currently is filled with homecoming drunks for the William and Mary football game tomorrow.

The Plotniks have rented a Ford Focus. What a piece of crap car. America ought to just change its name to Volkswagon.
