Our National Delight
Plotnik is putting together a photo album of the best shots of 2010. To do that you assemble your favorites and then toss out almost all the food photos, because sometimes you are the only person that cares about food photos.
In the process, Plotnik has discovered an interesting fact: French Fries occupy many plates of photo food. Also chile and pasta with red sauce, in one guise or another.
But French Fries dominate. Why is this? Shall we just admit that nothing on Earth tastes better than French Fries? Would you rather have the eagle as our national symbol or the fries that come with the lomo saltado at El Caserio in Stiletto?
Admit it. Is there anything tastier than a plate o' perfect Freedom Fries?

You aren't the only person that cares about food photos. I've always thought that Subway would be bigger than McDonalds if it only served fries.
I had a stuffed baked potato as a main dish in England once. It came with a side of french fries. I stopped making fun of British cooking then.
