Onions, Tomatoes and Nothing to Worry About
Back in SF, where it's breezy and warm. In Stiletto City it was breezy and hot. In Avenal, Merced and by Harris Ranch, it was still and stinky.
The Plots stopped at their favorite halfway point, Bell's Farm Stand, and brought home fabulous tomatoes, plus red and white onions, blueberries, pistachios and cherries. Tonight it's tomato and onion salad with basil from the garden and whatever still-non-putrified fossils Plottie can dredge from the back of the fridge.
Last night, PD and Plot played some ball at the local gym, then stopped at the all-of-a-sudden hip Vietnamese Pho spot in EPark where the old, decrepit Latino bakery used to be, to bring food back to TGD and 5H. Baby I was already asleep, but Plotnik and Ducknik got to duck their heads in and hear her sawing a few small logs.
And yes, the Plotniks did hear about the suicide bomber in Nairobi, and they heard it from BZ herself, who sent a text saying: "If you heard about what just happened in Nairobi, don't worry, we're out in the countryside." Plot activated the GPS 7500 What-Me-Worry? Filter and hasn't given it another thought.

Bronnie's doing a great job of pre-emptive parental thinking. Thanks for letting us all know she's okay.
Whoosh, I know you are relieved about Bron. And it's nice having you back in SF ~ see you Thurs. night.
