Air Supply

Rod Stewart, Air Supply, Whitney Houston, that's what you get in the Kinko's on Shmentura Boulevard. "I Saw Your Face and That's The Last I Saw Of My Heart" jams The Great Plotnik in and out in a hurry, armed with his orange juice and asiago cheese bagel from Panera's next door. When Plot and Duck got on the plane yesterday in Oakland, it was a little windy in the East Bay and the city was covered with fog. The second they stepped down the rear stairway at Burbank Airport and hit the tarmac, it was like they'd walked into a pizza oven. MAN, it's hot down here.

Last night Baby I showed off her new crawling-at-high-speed skills. The ramen at Daiko was better than ever and Plottie got to take Baby I for a little walk down First Street in Japantown, watching her look around and take note of every little thing, every passing hipster, every family with a baby either younger or older than she is...but none half as cute.

Tonight is Cousin Two Names's wedding. Mummy Plotnik has a new dress and Plottie has his Same Old Coat. The whole gang'll be there. It'll be a blast.

What is it with your circle of friends and family? Have they all been infected with a "must get married in 2007 virus?" Sheesh. You've attended more weddings in the last few months than I've been to in all my lives combined.
