It's Hard to Beat Kirby Cove

It's hard to beat Kirby Cove -- only a few minutes up the road into the Marin Headlands and you see a little blocked off road to the left. Punch the code into the lock on the gate, then swing the gate open and drive all the way down a little dirt road until you get into the trees. Walk through the trees and you're at the campsites and walk through the campsites and you're on the beach. Here's the view:

If you're there on the right day, the Blue Angels do their airshow over the city, and after each trick, turn and fly back over Kirby Cove to turn around again, regroup, and head for the Golden Gate Bridge.

Little Jack is no longer little, plus he's a budding capitalist. He placed himself on a chair by the campfire, toasted pieces of bread and tried to sell them for a buck apiece. He was down to a penny apiece by the time the marshmallows came out.

This place is too beautiful -- why not a TIAPOS retreat here? People could camp or go home at night, like the Plotniks did last night. It's only half an hour from The Meatball Kitchen too. What are we waiting for?
