Similarities

Union Square at night can look exactly like downtown Stiletto City -- the buildings are the same vintage, same rectangles, same color, the billboards, even the moon. The next shot could be Pershing Square and the Biltmore Hotel, but it's not.



Plot and Duck are flying out in a few hours to say Happy Birthday to Baby I in person and to check in with Mummy P and the rest of the fandamily. Grandma Joy is already there. After a hard bike ride this morning, which terminated as always at the bagel shop, Plotnik is licking his chops waiting for Duck to get back from her circuit class so the bagels can get demolished. There is nothing like a healthy shmear of Northern California self-righteousness before heading down to The City of Very Important People.
