DVR'ing the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl was fun, and Plotnik DVR'd the last quarter so he could watch it when he got home from going to see Curvy Widow. Few, he figured, in this primarily-female audience would be interested in the Super Bowl, and nobody would be talking about it. See the first line of the SF Theater Blog's review to see how well that worked.

It was a fun day, but now comes a yummy trip to Napa to eat lunch with Chef Pickle and the Large Pants family. We shall report back later.

Wow. I can't believe they did that - acknowledging in any way that some other "super" event was going on is a surprise.

The last nine minutes of the game were still worth watching though. (Assuming you set your DVR to add about an hour to how long it thought the game would last.)

The wife and I have been watching the early Moonlighting stuff. Her and Bruce were practically just kids then.
