Pork and Window Shades

This man is smiling because he is done paying tuition. His name, long ago, was Joe Turkey, but now he's just Jose Feliz: Joe Happy. Plotnik understands his glee.

At Corky's BBQ, A huge bbq pork sandwich with cole slaw on it is only $4.95 and it is hard to finish it all. Pitchers of beer. Ribs Memphis style, dry with no sauce. And the bbq joint is right across the street from the hotel.

Yesterday's plane had babies and little kids. Lots of 'em. The kid sitting at the window in Plotnik's row kept playing with the window shade and it was blindingly sunny outside. Up. Blast of sun. Down. Dark. Up. Blast of sun. Down. Plottie asked his dad if he could ask his boy to please not play with the shade anymore. The man said something to the boy. The boy laughed. Up. Down. Up. Down.

It's great to see DC Niecie and everyone else who has come for Britt's graduation on Saturday. But that's tomorrow, and today is Graceland, and then the huge Civil Rights Museum. The first part of the day is bound to be tastelessly cool.

Oh man that sounds good. Just be careful or you might not fit in your seat for the flight back.

Why are kids so good at being annoying? (Asks the grandfather who is about to have a grandkid overnight tonight - a kid that is nearly perfect, but has that knack for getting on your nerves sometimes.)
