Duct Tape
DISCLOSURE: THIS IS NOT THE GREAT FOOT OF THE GREAT PLOTNIK!
Plotnik reads a backpacker-oriented travel blog called Boots'n'All. Usually, the info contained therein is of no use whatsoever to Plottie, but this article today about Duct Tape really caught his eye:
BZWZ if you're reading this, remember the infection on the boat heading for the Galapagos? And Plottie got some rampaging crud in a cut while camping once that seemed to be multiplying exponentially as he watched.
Plot especially loves the usage of covering the mouth of some blathering fellow tourist's endless travel monologues. Or political ones at home.
The good news is that SParky's father is feeling better and she'll be at the Tiapos Christmas Party on Thursday. With salad. And SParky never uses duct tape. Her stories always have us in stitches.

Hey Debbie, Does duct tape go in the hiking backpack, too? Hugs from your Mommy!
Duct tape was used by long distance runners for blister care and prevention for years. Then some companies started coming out with specialized tape to do the same thing, but for ten times the price. The stuff really is amazingly useful.
