Happy Mother's Day from Memphis
Sunday morning: Happy Mother's Day to Moms everywhere. Plotnik wishes Mummy P. could read a computer monitor, but he'll use the phone later on.
The graduation was fun and once again Plotnik is amazed how you only do two things at any family affair: sit, and eat. The sitting has been fine and the eating even better. It was more bbq last night in the middle of a huge thundershower -- thanks to a cyclone touching down in nearby Arkansas.
This morning is a little chilly and quite windy. The Plotniks and jj-aka-pp are about to leave for Oxford, Mississippi, an hour an a half from here, to walk around the U of Miss campus, visit William Faulkner's house and allow Duck to check one of her few remaining states off her list. She still needs Wyoming and Alaska.
Tonight is a Mother's Day dinner with New Adult Britt (having graduated yesterday) and JJ. Everyone else will have gone home. Tomorrow, Plottie and Duck do the same.

Duck needs Wyoming? Get her to Yellowstone! (I wouldn't have thought it would be that easy to see all the states around it without somehow accidentally wandering into it though.)
More BBQ. You are probably looking forward to coming home to some exotic ethnic food. Maybe sourdough bread and clams.
Yes, we were worrying about you and all that bad weather. It's a little foggy here (surprise), but should warm up for your most welcome return.
The capitol building in WY is pretty cool-there's a giant buffalo outside of it :)
