World Headquarters: Still Lookin' Good
Todd the carpenter dropped by the other morning, looking to take some photos of his work on the Victorian restoration at The Great Plotnik World Headquarters a few years back. It was a job like all other jobs, filled with expected and unexpected tasks, starting with removing 50 year old aluminum siding to expose 100+ year old old growth redwood siding, then moving on to new windows and trim and a new roof...
...and finally a first class paint job by J-Whack, including fashioning and installing the treble club at the peak.
Thinking about it makes Plotnik really happy it's done. Renovations are always worth it in the end but royal pains in the rear end while they're going on. That's three for this house, since the Plotniks have lived here, and that ought to do it, wouldn't ya think?

We just had the carpet pulled up from the living room this morning to find very nice wood floors underneath it. It's funny what people will do in the name of home improvement.
What you had done was magnificent!
until you chop down the avocado and make room for the pool table
Mom and Dad have a Todd too-he's Todd the Plumber!
