Coffee and Tomatoes?

Most places in the country, these photos of tomatoes growing in pots would attract little attention. But in Saint Plotniko they are something! Plottie has never had two pots of tomatoes grow so big and have so many blossoms.



It's not the compost, because he didn't plant these in compost, in fact they are in last year's potting soil. But -- he DID pour his coffee grounds religiously into both pots for a month or two during the winter? D'ya think?
