The Great Plotnik

Wednesday, July 07, 2010

It's 105 degrees in concrete New York, and humid. Imagine. And The Great 5Head has a bout of stomach flu. Does it get any worse?

The Great BZWZ is stuck in Chicago. Her plane from Boston to Chicago last night couldn't land due to thunderstorms, so her connecting plane from Chicago to Amman, Jordan left without her. She has to get on tonight's plane, which as of yesterday was full, or else get routed through Frankfurt with a whole lot of geological equipment, and when they land take a four hour jeep ride through the desert to Petra. The archeologists are there already. Ah, travel to exotic lands.

Of course, it still sounds great to Plotnik.

Meanwhile, Schmekl and Little Bear get back to Stiletto City today after almost two weeks in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Heidelberg and Lucerne, with most of their time having been spent in Paris. Plottie hasn't heard a word so they must have had a great time.

As for Plot and Duck's travel plans: they don't have any. It's still feeling very nice to be stuck right here in the cool.

Yes, that East Coast weather makes even me not hate this fog too much.
