HD and Baseball
Interesting fact. When you have HD installed and the cable runs into an old non-HD TV set, even the older, non-HD channels look better. The new HD channels are twice as good as they were, even without changing TVs. The problem is HD signals seem to make the picture skinnier and longer, and on an old-style TV they become smaller. When the person looking at the TV has very limited sight, smaller is bad, larger is good. So, basically, HD channels look worse than non-HD channels on an old TV.
We'll attempt to take care of that today. This day may be...well, it might be like that 9th and 10th Inning last night.

Has last nights game ended? I thought I was watching a Yankees-Red Sox game.
Good luck with the TV project. Fodder for Tiapos next week?
HD has been a great boon to the TV manufacturers and the people that sell them. Watching the Dodgers lose on a 42" HD screen is priceless though. How big of a screen will Mummy P be watching the Dodger carnage on?
